Pranjal took two of my courses and got excellent grades. Through in-depth interaction, I was convinced that he is the most capable and conscientious students. He grasped new concepts quickly and understood the practical application easily. Considering his outstanding performance, easy going personality, and reliability, Pranjal was invited to be the UG TA in my courses in the last term, to give tutorials to junior students and check students’ homework. It turned out that he is a terrific TA, very popular among students.
Pranjal did his Final year project under my supervision. He led the team from project selection, literature review, and experimental design to data analysis. They encountered several problems during the project implementation amid the Covid-19 pandemic. However, no obstacles cannot be conquered with his strong problem-solving skills, dedication and leadership.
Pranjal is highly self-driven and motivated to address real problems, which often requires self-learning as the knowledge had not been covered. He led a team on Chem-E Car Competition 2019 and performed impressively. It was amazing that he participated in two international conference and gave presentation. Pranjal is also eager to apply the theory into the practice, and has taken two internships on climate change and sustainability, including the prestigious consulting company Ernst and Young.
Pranjal is very active in student’s activities. For example, he was the president of AIChE student chapter, and organized many meaningful and inspiring events. His great leadership helped the cabinet win the Outstanding Student Chapter Award for 2018-19. Pranjal shows great care to our department. He has been invited to share his research experience in the Advising and Professional Development courses for junior students. Pranjal has also been the TA, ambassador, and helpers for the university.
