About Karthik Ashok

I am Karthik Dhawan and I have graduated from the London School of Economics with a master's degree in management in 2019. I am currently working in the financial audit industry and pursuing my chartered accountancy (ACA) qualification. Teaching and interacting with children have always been my passion. Prior to studying at the LSE, I studied a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering in India.

My earliest experience with teaching started during my undergraduate days (2015-2017) when I volunteered to teach children in one of the NGOs in Bangalore, India. I taught Mathematics, English and Science to children of grades 5 and 6. When I started my Master's degree in the UK in 2017, I started to tutor students in the UK. So far, I have mostly taught Mathematics and Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) to GCSE and A-level students. All my students have passed with flying colours.

My most recent teaching experience includes teaching Mathematics to 11+ students and Biology to a GCSE student. They are due to taking their exams in summer.

I am looking forward to teaching Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology), Management and Accounting for university students, GCSE, A levels and 11+ students.

Summary of me
I am Karthik Dhawan and I have graduated from LSE in 2019. I pursued management and business studies at LSE. Before that, I studied mechanical engineering as part of my undergraduate degree. Just like you, I am still a student. Currently, I am pursuing my ACA qualifications to be a chartered accountant soon while I work in a financial audit firm.

My personal motto is to make my students find learning easy. I use interactive board, videos and help you frame mnemonics which will help you remember what you learnt and pass exams with flying colours

Typical length of my class will be an hour’s long and I am happy to extend it to ensure that you understand what is being taught to you.
