I have already done a lot of tutoring during my time at the VWO and have always received positive reactions to this. I'm 23 years old and have always loved tutoring. I still regularly help people with math or chemistry, as I really like these subjects. I notice that I'm good at explaining the matter in different ways so that there's an understandable explanation for everyone. I am pretty informal since I am still fairly young, so I can really understand if you're not coming to me just for fun ;). This is why I try not to make it a 'dull and monotonous' lesson as a lot of teachers in high school do. I used to find this extremely annoying because there was a real noticeable generation gap between teachers and students. In my opinion, they just stuck to one way of explaining things, which led to a lot of confusion and helplessness for students that just did not understand their way of explaining the matter. I will discuss your preferred structure of the lesson first, and see what we can work on!
