About Shikha
My favourite subjects were always those taught by teachers who not only knew their material but were genuinely passionate about it. My lessons are about my student. I believe in creating an engaging and supportive learning environment that encourages active participation and helps students develop a deeper understanding of mathematics. My tutoring approach is student-centred. This means I tailor each lesson to meet the individual needs of the student. I ensure my students have a strong foundation of concepts before building up on them. This means that practice questions are key to really understanding a topic. I would recommend lessons of at least an hour to give the student enough time to reflect on previous learnings and build new concepts. I am flexible and can adjust based on the student's needs. Whether the student benefits more from shorter, more frequent lessons or prefers longer, more intensive sessions, I am happy to accommodate. I recently graduated from the University of Manchester with an Integrated Masters in Mechanical Engineering with Management. Although I am new to professional tutoring, I have a strong academic background, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for teaching that I’m eager to share with my students. My lessons are suitable for all ages up to (and including) GCSEs.
