About Mariana
I am currently studying Biomedical Science and doing a research in brain tumours at CIMA (in Spain). I’m going to my last year of my course and I have started to write my dissertation. I have ended high school in Portugal with an equivalence to A Levels of ABB and I have studied: Chemistry A, Physics, Mathematics A, Biology A, Geology A, Portuguese, Philosophy, Spanish and English.
I believe that at some point it is really helpful to have someone to reinforce what you learn in school.
I am also available to teach Portuguese and Spanish, if you wish to learn a new language.

I believe the best approach to learn is to practice. This way I would understand where the student needs help, do a revision about the theme and find exercises about it. The main problem (especially during high school) is that we are used to very common exercises and we start doing it automatically; then, if any problem outside of the box appears, we don’t really know how to solve it - at least this is what used to happen to me years ago. I am always available to do zoom (even for 15 min if its just a small doubt), I have a really flexible schedule that allows me to do so.
