About Tessa

I have completed high school and my bachelor's degree with a major in Art and Literature and a minor in Business. I have also worked as a tutor in Mathematics and Latin for students aged 12-16 during high school and have worked as the Lead Teaching Assistant for the College of Arts and Humanities at Minerva University. In the latter position, I was in charge of student grading, feedback, direct support, resource development, and office hours for courses in the Arts, Philosophy, and History.

My typical process would be to firstly discuss with the student and/or parents what the student's level and goals are, what content they are currently looking to cover, what study materials they use, what their weekly study load looks like, what particular things they might find challenging, etc.

In addition, I would ask if there are any specific deadlines or tests that the student is working towards so that if needed, we can work on a schedule to cover all the required content within the desired time period.

I have worked with high school students aged 12-16 as well as college students in their freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior year. For high school students, I can offer support for a variety of subjects.
