About Justin
It all started with Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call me maybe." Seriously. Ask me about it.
I'm a former high school math teacher that was really, really good at teaching. I left my teaching career to pursue graduate studies at a protestant seminary in the Pittsburgh area. I've continued teaching and tutoring math since the move. I also coached boys' and girls' high school soccer and really enjoyed the team building, coaching talks, and success that that brought.

The first step is to listen! What's been going on in math? Has your performance or attitude or mentality or enjoyment with math changed recently? How has this class been affecting your health? How successful do you really want to be in class?
The second step is to find out what you know. I always ask several very basic questions that immediately give me an idea of where you are.
The third step is to have a session! There's no better way to see if we are a good fit for each other than by having a tutoring session.
I've worked with all levels of students, from early elementary through college. The areas where you would be getting the best value from me would be middle school and high school math, including college calculus and algebra but excluding statistics.
Who are you? Ideally, you probably have always wanted to have to get a tutor, right? And you are probably dealing with zero anxiety, stress, and frustration in this process, right?
