About Anthony
The founder and owner of 3D Self Defense. He is a firm believer that in today's society everyone should be able to protect themselves, but also have the discipline to know when to walk away. He became a student of the world renown Grandmaster Dennis Brown at the Dennis Brown Shaolin Washington Academy. In 1986 he began to create a buzz in the fighting world and soon became a Nationally ranked competitor on the NASKA Circuits.. He crafted his own unique style of kicking,, which quickly became identifiable to him on the circuit and made him quite the formidable opponent. He soon became labeled as one of the best kickers.. He has over 40 years of experience as a skilled martial artist and instructor. In addition to his skills in Shaolin Wushu, he is also discipline in Silat Kuntao, Filipino Grappling, Boxing, Tai Chi, Qi Gong and Meditative Deep Breathing.. In addition to owning and operating 3DSelfDefense, as an expert kicker, he is currently the liason for the professional MMA fighters at Master Lloyd Irving's Mixed Martial Arts Academy to perfect their art of kicking.. Mastee Bledsoe was awarded the Excellence Lifetime Achievement Award from The School of Martial Science and Fitness. He was also given the Silver Pioneer Award for 25 plus years of Service in the Martial Arts Community. He was an Instructor at Dennis Brown Shaolin Academy under Grand Master Dennis Brown, Full Circle Martial Arts under Grand Master Wallace Powell & Grand Master Samuel Scott, he is also the liason for the Curriculum at Superior Martial Arts Training Center owned and operated by Shi fu Marvara Isaacs. I am a long time martial artist and it is very difficult to find quality schools these days that teach affective and practical martial arts. 3D has provided the type of training that I am looking for and more.. I HIGHLY recommend 3D to both the new and experienced martial artist.
Sifu Bledsoe is one of the best all around martial arts instructors I have come across! His teaching applications are both practical and effective so anyone can learn and become skilled. He is also patient and works on the strengths that you have to build confidence in each student. I truly recommend you give 3D Self-Defense a try!
I enjoy Shifu Bledsoe's patient yet detailed approach to teaching realistic, practical, self-defense techniques for both competition and the streets (if necessary). He always shows a true passion and willingness to openly share his many years of martial arts experience and expertise to all who are interested in learning!
The fact that less is more, meaning a student doesn’t have to learn a thousand techniques to be effective.
