About Lizzie
I am a fusion Bellydancer located in the Covington area. I can offer private lessons at your residence or gym. I began my dance journey 10 years ago. I have performed locally with Meraki, at the Louisiana Renaissance Festival as a solo dancer, and at various festivals and events across Louisiana.
I have taken bellydance workshops from Zoe Jakes, Lady Morrighan, and Chantal Schoernez. I believe in always studying and growing my dance technique.
I can teach you anything from the basics of bellydance to the fundementals fusion. So what are you waiting for? Come learn to shake it like Shakira!
I enjoy sharing my love of dance with others.
I danced for many years in a troupe. I wanted to share my love of fusion with others. This started my journey in teaching!
I currently take weekly instruction under Chantal Schoernez. However I have also trained under Zoe Jakes, Martina Bakshi, Lady Morrighan, and Amanda Monjure.
I also have a Bachelor of Science in Education!

I like to start with the basics and build upon that. We will focus on building the muscle strength needed to move fluidly and learning how to isolate muscle groups for movement.
I have worked with beginner to advanced level students.
I would say look the person up. Make sure what they are doing is what you would want to learn. Also check their credentials and make sure they are who they say they are. There are many forms of bellydance and many wonderful instructors in the area.
