Chef Mariah had a burger and bourbon event. As soon as I walked in the tables were decorated with the simplest, but unique decor. Tables were covered with brown paper, bells, festive napkins and she wrote the menu on the paper. One of my favorites was the blitzen jingle juice. While we waited for the burgers she served us a wedge salad with toasted seeds and a buttermilk bleu cheese dressing. Amazing!! Usually I’m a eat fries first kind of a gal, but as soon as a bit into the burger it was so juicy and delicious. The fries were the best I ever had. I never would think to fry them in duck fat. The best party and meal a girl can ask for. I will tell you that since the party I have not had a burger that beats what Mariah and her brother made. Absolutely worth checking out her skills and having the best food you’ve every had served with care and happiness.
