Hello, My name is Carmine and I have been a professional in the world of food for over 20 years. I love to impart my knoweldge and skills on those who are willing to learn new things, eat delicious food, and have a great time doing it! I have lots of tricks up my sleeve, please contact me and we'll cook together!
Nothing makes me happier than seeing people enjoy the food I make for them. I'd love to show you that you have the potential to make great meals. It will make you as happy as it makes me to see the smiles on their faces when they ask you, "Did you really male this??"
Since I've become a private chef, whenever I'd go into my client's homes, their dinner parties seemed to start revolving around the kitchen. Guests would watch me whip up whatever I'd be making for them; someone would ask a question about the meal, then another would, then another...It simply became part of the dinner party experience, to the point where once the food was prepared I'd be asked to sit down with them to enjoy the meal. I've realized that people love learning about food and watching someone cook. It's always a fun experience for everyone, myself included.
I am a college and culinary school graduate with 20+ years of food experience.

I like to have a chat with the new student about what their goals and objectives are when it comes to our cooking lessons. What is it that the student wants to learn how to make? Do they have a recipe that they'd like to conquer? What is their cooking skill set? Any information that I can extract from the student before we start cooking helps me in putting said student at ease, since we both know what we're getting into together.
Adults, coportate environments, children, nursing home residents/elderly, people with special needs.
Try not to be so hard on yourself when a recipe doesn't come out the way you thought it would. It is very easy to get discouraged in the kitchen. I will hopefully take your anxiety about cooking and turn your kitchen into the best place in your home!
I was asked to create a Lebanese inspired meal and demonstration to a fun group of 10 people. Although I loved Middle Eastern/Mediterranean inspired food, I didn't cook it often. I did tons of research and tried out many recipes before I felt comfortable enough teaching it to a group. I learned so much about the cuisine and the dinner party was a success!
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What specific recipes/dishes they'd like to try. It is one thing to say the student enjoys Italian food, but if the student narrows down their love of lasagna and broccoli rabe, it's easier to come up with fun and exciting ideas that I'd be able to teach step by step.
