About Pauline

Hi there! I’ve been teaching math, chemistry, and physics for years, helping students tackle tough concepts and feel confident in their skills. Whether it’s tricky equations, chemical reactions, or physics problems that feel impossible, I’m here to break it all down in a way that actually makes sense. I’m patient, easy to talk to, and fully invested in helping you succeed—whether that’s acing your next test or just feeling more sure of yourself in class. With my support, we’ll make these subjects less intimidating and more doable, one step at a time!

About the class

My Teaching Approach:
- Personalized Learning: Every student learns differently. I tailor lessons to their pace, style, and goals.
- Simplifying the Complex: I break down tough concepts into relatable, bite-sized pieces, using real-world examples and analogies.
- Interactive Sessions: Learning should be fun! My lessons are conversational and hands-on to keep students engaged.

A Typical Lesson
- Warm-Up: Quick review and set goals for the session.
- Dive In: Clear, step-by-step explanations with examples.
- Practice Time: Students apply what they’ve learned.
- Wrap-Up: Summarize key points and assign light practice tasks.

What Makes Me Different
- Adaptable and empathetic, I make learning stress-free.
- I connect lessons to real-world applications, so they stick.-
I’m encouraging and patient—no question is too small!

Who I Teach
Middle school to high school students, plus test-prep learners.

Perfect! Pauline broke things down for me and wasn’t judgemental at all when it took me a while to get things! I felt like I had a much better understanding of the material after our first session, and I would definitely recommend her tutoring services to anyone :)

I legit hated math when I first met her and I still don’t quite like math now but she made the concepts a lot easier to digest and whenever I have questions I find her to be super approachable. This helped me a lot because I was able to clarify concepts without feeling judged. Highly recommend her.

Pauline was my tutor for math and physics last year, and I can’t recommend her enough! We first met when I was really struggling with both subjects, especially when it came to breaking down complex equations and understanding physics concepts like energy and motion. Pauline has this amazing way of explaining things. She’s super patient and always finds a way to make the material click, no matter how tricky it seems at first.
