About Jacob
I am a dedicated ESL tutor with 12 years of teaching experience, helping High School and College students develop strong English language skills. Throughout my teaching career, I have successfully taught around 150 students with different learning abilities and academic goals. My greatest satisfaction comes from seeing students become confident communicators who can use English naturally in both academic and everyday situations.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, encouragement, and personalized learning. Every student has a unique learning style, so I prepare lessons that match their individual needs and pace. I focus on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading, and writing while using simple explanations and practical examples to make every lesson easy to understand.
I believe learning should be interactive and enjoyable. My classes include discussions, role-playing activities, reading exercises, writing practice, and regular speaking opportunities that help students build confidence step by step. I encourage students to ask questions freely and view mistakes as valuable learning experiences.
Over the years, I have helped many students improve their grades, perform better in examinations, and communicate confidently in English. Besides ESL, I also teach Spoken English, English Grammar, Academic English, Reading Comprehension, Writing Skills, Vocabulary Development, and Communication Skills.
