I want students to be always active in the class and like to ask questions frequently for getting feedback, I start by sharing the agenda for the class, then introduce the topic using multiple representation. I solve a problem using different approach and encourage students to come with their own creative solution and always focus on the application part of each concept. Moving toward the end, I usually give them time for reasoning with each other to see if they truly understood the concept covered and finally end with a summary of topic covered.
