About Avantika
My interest in chemistry began with a deep curiosity about how substances transform and interact in both natural and controlled environments. This passion led me to pursue a PhD in Chemistry, where I gained advanced knowledge and research experience in chemical sciences. Over the past 12 years, I have worked with students from various academic backgrounds, helping them understand chemistry in a simple and structured way. My experience has allowed me to adapt my teaching methods to suit different learning styles effectively.
I believe that chemistry should be taught in a way that removes fear and builds understanding gradually. My teaching approach focuses on simplifying complex topics into smaller steps using examples, diagrams, and clear explanations. I encourage students to ask questions and explore concepts independently, which helps them build confidence and deeper understanding. I also provide continuous support and detailed feedback to ensure consistent improvement over time.
Outside teaching, I stay actively engaged with chemistry by reading research, exploring modern developments, and studying practical applications in daily life. This helps me keep my lessons updated and relevant. Teaching chemistry is deeply meaningful to me because I get to see students grow from uncertainty to confidence. Helping them develop curiosity, clarity, and a strong scientific mindset is something I truly value and enjoy every day.

Chemistry also helps students develop observation, analytical thinking, and logical reasoning skills. As they improve, they begin to understand how substances behave and interact under different conditions. They learn to approach problems step by step and think scientifically. My goal is to make chemistry clear, engaging, and meaningful so students feel confident in learning and applying the subject in both academic and real-life contexts.
