My name is James Quirk.
I'm a real life philosopher, like old school Diogenes style.
I studied philosophy intensively for 25 years. It was my life. It was my calling. It was my burden. It was my path and I couldn't stop doing it if I wanted to.
Along the way, I learned a lot.
Don't let anybody tell you that philosophy is worthless. Not only does the subject have inherent psychological value, but it is also a good marketplace skill. Philosophy is not even in the top 10 worst-paying majors to take. Employers know that if someone has taken the time to successfully study such a difficult subject, then the candidate must obviously have a good deal of intelligence and commitment.
