When I started at 26, I felt awkward, embarrassed, and completely overwhelmed in class. I often felt like the worst dancer in the room while everyone else seemed to “get it” faster.
Since then, I’ve performed on stage, filmed music videos, and participated in dance battles.
But it took me a long time to figure out how to get over the hump, and I wish I had someone to guide me back then. I want to take what I've learned and now help you reach your dance goals, even from scratch.
My class will help you learn how to move your body so you can feel confident in any style or setting. Experience the freedom & joy of dance so you stop watching and start belonging.
In our first session, we will come up with game plan for you, based on your history and experience so you feel supported every step of the way.

I've always felt anxious dancing at weddings and wanted to take some lessons to be a better dancer for those occasions. I had tried group lessons in the past but found the instructors there moved too fast for me to follow and wasn’t really tailored for wedding-style dances.
I took the plunge and signed up for a few private lessons with Jessica to help me with this and she was incredible. She personalized the lessons for wedding-specific situations and taught me a mix of how to dance to the rhythm of the music and some more partner specific tips. I learned a lot and last weekend for the first time ever I felt at ease on the dance floor of a wedding. Thank you! Highly recommended!Jessica is a great dancer and even greater teacher. She not only makes you feel comfortable with your own body but also helps you find the confidence within you! I really appreciate the technical corrections but also mindset direction and feeling. she curates dance to your learning style and it's been wonderful having her an an instructor.
