About Mahathi
Hi! I’m Mahathi, an honor student and senior in high school who enjoys helping others understand math. I’ve taken Honors Algebra 2 & Trigonometry and Honors Precalculus, and I’m currently taking AP Calculus AB and AP Statistics. I also have experience tutoring elementary and middle school students.
I know that math can sometimes feel frustrating or confusing, so I try to make lessons comfortable, patient, and judgment-free. I’m happy to explain something as many ways as needed and adapt to what works best for each student. Outside of tutoring, I’m involved in healthcare and health-related activities, and I enjoy learning new things and helping others along the way!
I’d love to help students build both their math skills and confidence.

I’m a patient and adaptable math tutor who focuses on making difficult concepts feel simple and approachable. I have completed Honors Algebra 2 & Trigonometry and Honors Precalculus, AP Calculus BC and AP Statistics. I also have experience tutoring elementary and middle school students in math.
I adjust my teaching to each student’s learning style. If something doesn’t click, I’ll break it into smaller steps, explain it in a different way, and work through examples together until it makes sense. A typical lesson starts by identifying areas of difficulty, reviewing the necessary foundations, learning the concept step-by-step, and practicing problems together before having the student take the lead.
I tutor middle school math and high school students in Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Precalculus, and Trigonometry. I can help with homework, test preparation, difficult concepts, or strengthening foundational skills.
