About Adam

I am dedicated to creating a supportive and non-judgmental environment where students can comfortably explore and master challenging concepts. Rest assured, I am driven by a deep desire to see you succeed and will go above and beyond to ensure your success and comfort in mathematics.

There is no question you could ask or mistake you could make that would make me think less of you. The simple fact that you are here looking for a tutor puts you in highest category of students, and that is something I wholeheartedly respect.

Feeling mathematically clueless is something I am familiar with; I actually failed high school math! Now I excel at advanced university mathematics. I would love to help you find the same success.

A lesson plan with me will start by establishing your learning objectives, and then assessing your current understanding. Once we have a list of objectives, we will go over the theoretical concepts needed for each objective (one-by-one), and then solidify that theory using a generous amount of practice problems.

I will demonstrate 1-2 examples for you, then we will work through some problems together. Then soon enough, you will have a strong enough understanding to do the problems yourself!
