Hi, my name is Mahi and I am here to help you succeed in math. I'm an experienced and patient tutor with a strong background in math and I've helped students at all levels, from elementary school to high school, to build confidence and improve their performance. As a tutor, I focus on making math feel less intimidating and more intuitive. I believe that students learn best when they understand why something works and not just how to do a problem. I tailor each session to the student's specific needs, but a typical lesson would start with a quick check in to identify any problem areas or review recent class material. From there, we break down key concepts, go through practice problems together, and work toward independent problem solving. I also will provide tips for checking work and recognizing common mistakes.
What sets me apart is my ability to explain things in a way that actually make sense. I'm patient, supportive, and very flexible in changing my teaching methods to suit the way that each student learns best. I genuinely care about helping students build a proper foundation so they could be able to solve more complex problems.
My lessons are great for students in high school, middle school, and elementary school. I am able to tutor students in Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus 1 and 2, and elementary school math.
