About Shiela
Hello and welcome to my class!
I am a Licensed Professional Teacher with a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Social Studies, TESOL and TEYL certifications, and experience teaching both young learners and adults. I have worked as an ESL teacher and currently teach in a public secondary school. My teaching experience has helped me develop effective strategies to make learning engaging, supportive, and meaningful.
I believe that every student can learn and improve with the right guidance, encouragement, and practice. In my classes, I use student-centered teaching methods, interactive activities, practical conversations, and personalized feedback to help learners improve their speaking, vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation.
I am patient, friendly, and passionate about helping students build confidence in communicating in English. I understand that learning a new language can be challenging, so I create a comfortable environment where you can express yourself freely and learn from your mistakes without fear.

As a Licensed Professional Teacher with TESOL and TEYL certifications, I believe that learning a language should be fun, meaningful, and practical. I focus on developing speaking, listening, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and confidence so that students can use English naturally in everyday conversations.
