About Uma
I was introduced to Yoga as a young 21-year-old, when I married a naturopathic doctor. It was love at first sight and I went on to qualify myself in Naturopathy and Dietetics. Along with my husband, I built and nourished "Keep Fit Hospital" at Shenoy Nagar, Madurai. After 32 years of practice, we retired last year. I believe "teaching yoga" was not just an occupation to me, but it gives me immense joy and purpose. I still feel the passion to teach yoga, even after retirement from our practice. What's even better this time? There is no geographic limitation, I can teach online!
