About Amy
Fluency in French requires mastering the subtle connections between words that define the rhythm of the language. My teaching approach focuses heavily on listening practice and building a sophisticated vocabulary bank that feels natural rather than forced. I provide free access to my vocabulary and grammar notes so you can review concepts outside of our scheduled time.
Because I completed an MA Translation Studies, I approach French grammar with a focus on how meaning shifts across different structures. You will gain a much clearer understanding of how to use these patterns in your daily business or hobby conversations.

I earned my MA Translation Studies at Kent State University to understand exactly how these sounds function across different contexts. Teaching 124 students has shown me that hobbyists often struggle most with the transition from silent reading to spoken fluency. My formal training at the Sorbonne and in Salamanca shaped my view that language is a tool for professional and personal growth.
