About Ngoc Tran Chau
I am a pharmacy student at UCL which is one of the top universities in the world. The journey that I have been through before I got into this university not only requires me to be outstanding in academics at school but also in extracurricular activities and language. I am from a country where English is not my first language; therefore, I had to spend more time self-studying than a lot of people because it took me more time to study something in English. After a few months of living in the UK, my English started to be better and better and I am able to study everything in English more effectively. I also made a lot of friends from many different countries and it will be one of the best things that I have had in my life. At the end of A-level, I got very high grades that I can be proud of as I put a lot of effort into it. The reason why I want to say that is because I want you to know that you can achieve many things if you want to even though it may be hard at the beginning. I have to balance my time logically for study and entertainment because I do not want to be stressed or under pressure, and I am willing to help you manage your time if you find it hard to balance the time for your hobbies and study. I hope the experience that I have had give you some information about me and my skills in a role as a tutor.

Maths requires you not only to remember the formulas but also to think logically. Sometimes students can find it hard to apply the theories that they have learned from textbooks to the questions. I just finished my A-level one year ago; therefore, I remember the contents that I have learned as well as the tips and methods that I used so well and I am willing to share them with my students to help them solve their problems in Maths. I used to find Chemistry very hard when I was at A-level, but in the end, I got an A in this subject, so I believe I have got for myself many top tips to come over the difficulties in Chemistry. I want to be a Maths/Chemistry tutor for A-level students/ GCSE students as well as students who are younger than that. I used to be a Maths/English tutor for many students in many age brackets on an online platform; therefore, I believe I have enough knowledge, skills, and experience to be able to explain and transfer the contents to my dear students. I am also a Pharmacy student from one of the top universities in the world; hence, I can understand my students' mental health and help them get the grades that they want without feeling stressed or under pressure. The ideal length for each lesson should be 2 hours/ lesson. I will focus on the exercises that are given in the textbook first to make you feel confident with those kinds of questions before moving on to the advanced questions that I think it can be given in the test/exam.
