About Anjum
I am a dedicated and patient student tutor with a strong academic background in math and science. Growing up with parents who are teachers, I have been surrounded by education from a young age and have had the opportunity to collaborate with them in supporting and teaching their students. This early exposure helped me develop clear communication skills, responsibility, and an understanding of how students learn at different paces.
As a student myself, I understand what it feels like to be confused, stressed, or in need of extra support, which strongly shapes how I teach. I aim to create a comfortable and encouraging learning environment where students feel confident asking questions. This closeness to the student experience allows me to give the best version of my teaching—supportive, clear, and tailored to each child’s needs.

TEACHING STYLE/ABOUT ME:
I create lesson plans that are organized in a way where ideas build from simplicity to complexity. I do not start from ideas that require background knowledge as a starting point for the student, but instead, my lessons focus on fundamentally teaching the child in various ways, whether it be through diagrams, real-life examples, or simply a different route. I am always ready to adapt to the child. Not, the other way around. I would also give the child homework if they request to do so. My aim is to always provide the best learning experiences, so the child does not resent the subject but comes to appreciate its beauty.
