About Zane
I’m passionate about helping students grow and become their best through Chess. With 5 years of teaching and competition experience, I’ve had the chance to guide players from school all the way up to college. My greatest happiness comes from seeing my students improve their skills, gain confidence, and enjoy the game more with every move. Over the years, I’ve successfully trained many players to think strategically, solve problems, and perform under pressure — both on the board and in life. Some of my proudest moments include helping a team win a school championship and seeing a student reach their highest rating in a tournament. I believe Chess is not just a game; it’s a powerful tool for developing patience, creativity, discipline, and forward thinking.
