My degree in music from Concordia University might suggest a focus on rigid classical training, but my heart remains in the folk traditions of Quebec. I find that the most effective way to teach head and chest voice is to treat the body as a unique instrument that requires gentle, consistent care.
Balancing vocal range extension with the raw emotion of a song is a delicate act that I help my students navigate over time.
