About Suellen
10 years ago I started my practice in yoga and circus, two distinct universes but that were complementary to my experience. Since then, I have become an eternal lover of the study of movement and body awareness. In 2019, I graduated as a Vinyasa Yoga instructor in the city of Rishikesh, India. In the same year, I participated in retreats both for immersive experiences of studying yoga at Ashram Sivananda, as well as meditation practices in the Vipassana style, of absolute silence for 10 days. All of this can propel me to travel for 8 months teaching classes in different regions in India, both for children and adults. I work proposing an observation of the breath, of the movements of the body and of the mind, of its own silence and of the impermanence of all that. I share about the philosophy of yoga always connecting with your personal goals.

This Vinyasa Yoga class focuses on connecting breathing, movement and mind; with meditative, breathing practices and body movements. VINYASA YOGA METHOD "Vinyasa" are the flows or sequence of movements. The goal is to perform the movements with fluidity, which will be more and more intuitive with frequency and practice. Within this flow, the Asanas are practiced, which are the positions within the study of Yoga. They strengthen and make bodily and mental movements more flexible. This means that, not only the physical part gains strength and lightness, but mainly the psychological part, reducing anxiety and bringing moments of peace and calm to your thoughts. "Yoga" means union. Therefore, I work with a practice that brings this INTERNAL connection, its own union, observing the connection between body, mind and spirit; and EXTERNA, its link with the universe and with everything around it; showing that you are the part and you are the whole. A moment for you to pay attention to yourself. I will be like a bridge to direct your attention to what you already have and to be able to find your best version. Understanding your needs, I will share the knowledge of this ancient method that brings many physical and mental benefits. Use a few minutes to improve your breathing capacity, your intestinal flow, your sleep, strengthening your body and mind. ONLINE AND PRESENTIAL PRACTICES Online classes are done through the Google Meet platform and are kept for you to practice after hours for a week. The face-to-face classes are held at the Lumi Hirata Studio in São Paulo, in the Pinheiros region near Parque Vila Lobos, of course, following all safety protocols.
