About Edward
I am an enthusiastic Guitar tutor with 8 years of teaching experience, helping high school students, college learners, and adults learn guitar in a supportive and encouraging environment.
During my teaching journey, I have successfully trained around 300 students, many of whom started with no prior experience. My teaching philosophy focuses on clear guidance, practical learning, and positive encouragement. I believe students learn best when lessons are easy to understand and when they enjoy the process. In my lessons, I teach the essential skills of guitar playing such as chords, rhythm techniques, strumming patterns, finger exercises, and basic music understanding.
These fundamentals help students build confidence and improve their playing. I also guide students in learning simple songs and melodies, which helps them apply their knowledge and stay motivated. Teaching hundreds of students has helped me develop effective teaching methods that support beginners and help them progress steadily.
Many of my students have gained confidence and performed at school and college events, which is always inspiring to see. My aim is to help students develop strong guitar skills and enjoy learning music.

My teaching approach for Guitar focuses on clear communication, adapting to different learning styles, and helping students understand music in a practical way. I begin by learning about the student’s level, goals, and musical interests so I can design lessons that suit their needs. In my classes, students learn essential Guitar techniques such as chord shapes, strumming patterns, rhythm control, scales, and finger exercises.
I explain each concept step by step so students can practise comfortably and improve steadily. I also use real-life musical examples from songs and performances so students can see how Guitar techniques are used in real music.
Along with Guitar training, I introduce related subjects such as basic music theory, ear training, rhythm exercises, improvisation basics, and songwriting. These subjects help students develop a deeper understanding of music and build creativity. My goal is to help students grow as confident Guitar players while enjoying the learning process.
