About Ayda
Hi! My name is Ayda Canon and I am a recent VCE graduate who has a love and passion for English. I am currently studying biomedicine at RMIT University and I have experience in both tutoring for year 11 and year 12 VCE students. I understand what it is like to be a student and how hard it can get at times! I have always loved to teach and have witnessed amazing progress for my students in VCE English no matter if English is their favorite subject or a subject they struggle with the most. I am here to help you set a realistic goal for your VCE English journey and inspire confidence in you to reach your goals.

My lessons first consist of understanding areas of strength and areas for improvement, to me understanding a students level with VCE English and realistic goals for the year enables me to help each individual student to the best of ability as every student is different. We will work through understanding content and polishing writing and analysis skills eventually preparing for the end of year exam. The lengths of my lessons are minimum 1 hour to maximum 2 hours. My lessons are for anyone taking VCE English in year 11 or 12. I have been tutoring English for almost one year now and believe my own recent VCE English experience having graduated in 2024 helps me teach in a modern and relatable manner.
