About Nahom

Hi! My name is Nahom, and I specialize in math, calculus, physics, and chemistry. I graduated high school with a 96% in calculus and over a 90% average overall — but more importantly, I know how to make these subjects make sense for anyone, no matter their starting point. I’ve helped students go from confusion to clarity by breaking things down step-by-step, making lessons simple, engaging, and easy to follow. Whether you're trying to boost your grade, prepare for a big exam, or just finally get it, I’m here to guide you with patience and real strategies that work. I’m professional, passionate about teaching, and always on time. Let’s reach your goals together — and maybe even enjoy the process a little too!

As a tutor with a strong background in calculus, physics, chemistry, and math overall, my approach is centered around making complex concepts feel simple, practical, and even enjoyable. I believe that understanding should always come before memorization — once a student truly understands, the grades follow naturally.

I break down problems into intuitive steps, using real-world analogies to help students visualize and relate to the concepts.

I use active recall and spaced repetition strategies to help information stick long-term.

I teach students how to think like problem-solvers — not just how to pass a test, but how to build real confidence in the subject.

I adapt to the student’s learning style (visual, auditory, hands-on) and keep things interactive so they stay engaged.

I simplify complex topics and focus on building real understanding before memorization. I use clear explanations, step-by-step breakdowns, and adjust my teaching to fit each student’s learning style — whether visual, hands-on, or analytical.

Typical Lesson Plan:

Quick review of last session or homework

Teach or reinforce the core concept

Work through problems together

Student tries one on their own

Recap and answer questions

What Sets Me Apart: I’ve consistently scored over 90% in math and science, finishing high school with a 96% in calculus. I’m patient, relatable, and passionate about helping students gain confidence and improve fast.

Who I Teach:

High school students (Grades 9–12)

First-year university students in intro-level math, calc, chem, or physics
