About Pooja

My background in physiotherapy gives me a unique perspective on learning, particularly in terms of the mind-body connection. I apply principles of movement, body awareness, and holistic learning to help students approach their studies with focus and balance. Whether it's improving posture for better study habits or offering practical strategies to stay energized during study sessions, I bring a mindful approach to the learning process that helps students thrive academically and physically. I also recognize that every student is different, so I adjust my approach based on their learning style—be it visual, auditory, kinesthetic, or a combination. I build a supportive and positive learning environment where mistakes are seen as opportunities for growth.

As a tutor, I believe in a student-centered approach, where each lesson is tailored to the individual’s needs, pace, and learning style. I integrate a blend of hands-on activities, engaging visual aids, and practical examples to help students fully grasp concepts. For me, teaching isn't just about providing answers—it's about building confidence and empowering students to think critically and independently. In addition to my expertise in physiotherapy, I use clear, structured, and relatable language to make even complex topics understandable and enjoyable.

Typical Lesson Plan:

Warm-up (5-10 minutes): A quick review of the previous lesson and addressing any lingering questions.
Introduction to New Concepts (10-15 minutes): I introduce new material using real-life examples, diagrams, and hands-on activities where possible.
Guided Practice (15-20 minutes): I provide interactive exercises or problems for the student to work on, offering feedback as needed to ensure they are mastering the material.
Independent Practice (10 minutes): I encourage students to apply what they've learned on their own, giving them the chance to test their understanding.
Wrap-up and Review (5-10 minutes): I summarize key takeaways from the lesson and assign follow-up practice or reading to reinforce the material.
