About Megan

In my lessons, we explore the elegant world of advanced mathematics, focusing on abstract algebra, number theory, and the rigor of mathematical proofs. I take a gentle and reflective approach, guiding students through complex concepts with clarity and patience. We dive deep into foundational ideas, uncovering the logic and beauty behind each theorem. Lessons are designed to encourage independent thinking and critical analysis, helping students develop their own understanding rather than just memorizing formulas. I focus on nurturing curiosity, supporting learners as they connect abstract ideas to broader mathematical landscapes. Each session is structured to challenge the mind while remaining approachable and engaging. Through careful explanations, interactive examples, and thought-provoking questions, students gain confidence in tackling sophisticated problems. I support learners in excelling at higher mathematics, fostering both skill and appreciation for its elegance. Together, we explore the patterns and structures that form the heart of mathematical thought. By the end of our sessions, students are not only proficient in advanced concepts but also inspired to continue exploring mathematics on their own. My goal is to make complex ideas accessible, meaningful, and deeply rewarding.

I’m a Maths tutor with over 7 years of experience and a BSc in Pure Mathematics. I specialize in helping students master the mathematical foundations crucial for artificial intelligence and machine learning. My lessons cover topics like gradient descent, optimization algorithms, and linear algebra for neural networks. I also guide students through probability concepts essential for Bayesian inference.

I enjoy breaking down complex ideas into clear, understandable steps. My goal is to make abstract mathematics tangible and relevant for real-world AI applications. I have extensive experience mentoring future data scientists and AI developers. We explore how theory translates into practice, from building models to refining algorithms.

I focus on developing problem-solving skills while nurturing curiosity and critical thinking. My approach combines structured explanations with interactive exercises and hands-on examples. Each session is tailored to the student’s pace and interests. I aim to build both competence and confidence in mathematical reasoning. Together, we uncover the elegant structures behind intelligent systems.
