Hello! My name is Molly and I am a passionate and patient tutor dedicated to helping my students feel confident and capable in their learning. My teaching approach focuses on building deep understanding rather than memorization. A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous material to reinforce key ideas and check understanding. Then I introduce the topic for the day through simple examples before guiding more complicated practice questions. The session usually ends with a short recap and homework to practice at home. I adjust my pace and explanations to match each student's learning style and personality. I find it important to build my students' confidence as much as academic skill by helping them see that making mistakes is not something to be ashamed of but something that is just a part of a learning process. My lessons are designed for middle school to high school students studying math and physics.
