About Wendy
As a college student, I understand the need for extra help for better results and I understand the lack of confidence to ask the teacher for explanations during or even after class. As an explainer, I value the apprehension of the concepts of the subjects I teach more than the simple act of memorizing information without ever really understanding the basics. When it comes to English, I value text comprehension, speaking/pronunciation and writing comprehension more highly. And with regard to the discipline of Biology and Geology, deep understanding of the concepts of the subject is valued, followed by learning the correct scientific language.
