About Emily

As a university student, I understand that learning can sometimes be challenging. I enjoy spending time with children and would love to help younger students feel more confident and comfortable with math. I hope to make learning a little easier, more enjoyable and less stressful for them!

I offer mathematics tutoring for students from Primary School to Year 10, with lessons tailored to each student’s individual needs, learning pace and goals.

As a Mathematics and Statistics undergraduate at the University of Melbourne, I enjoy making maths easier to understand and more enjoyable for younger students.

My teaching style is patient, friendly and encouraging. I focus on explaining concepts clearly, breaking down difficult problems into simple steps, and helping students build a strong foundation in mathematics.

My lessons can include homework support, revision of school topics, exam preparation and extra practice in areas where students need more confidence.

I believe that every student has the potential to succeed in maths with the right guidance and encouragement. My goal is to create a relaxed and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and learning at their own pace.
