About Rosie
I am a Health Science undergraduate student at the University of Canterbury, specializing in Biochemistry, with a strong academic background in Biology and Chemistry. My studies have given me a solid understanding of NCEA Science content as well as effective ways to approach complex scientific concepts.
My tutoring approach is structured, supportive, and focused on building both understanding and confidence. I believe students achieve the best results when they understand the “why” behind what they are learning, rather than relying on memorization alone. To achieve this, I break down difficult topics into clear, manageable steps and use real examples to make concepts easier to grasp.
Each lesson is typically 60 minutes long and follows a clear structure: a brief review of previous learning, focused teaching of a key topic, and guided practice using NCEA-style questions.
