About Fanette
I've already given tutoring lessons in every subject for a 13 year-old teenager, and have a long experience in baby-sitting. My students' grades significantly increased thanks to the support I was providing, but although a peer's support is really helpful, I believe that one's personal investment is as or even more important.

I am a fourth year Psychology student in St Andrews. I'm French, and have already done two years of med school studies in France. The past three years I have been tutoring children (9 year olds), teenagers (14 and 16 years old) and adults, and have successfully adapted my lesson plans to these different age categories. I think the best way to learn languages is to talk, therefore my tutorials are fully in French, and focused on conversation skills. French grammar and conjugaison are also really important to master to become fluent, therefore I will also insist on these subjects. As said previously, I can give give lessons to children, teenager or adult, for class or for entertainment. The lesson would start with a brief reminder of what was done in the previous lesson, and will continue building on that. I always ask my tutees to explain to me what they've learned in their own words, to see if they understood correctly, but also because I think rephrasing one think in one's own word is a powerful way of learning.
