About Maggie
I have helped students with math before. I have set school records in my honors math class, and I have been in advanced math since seventh grade. Math used to be my least favorite class, by far. I dreaded the homework that would take hours of my free time, until I changed my perspective. My grades took a turn for the best, and I started believing in myself. I want to help you do the same.

I can teach in a way that you need to understand. I think that learning can be fun. It doesn’t have to be tedious! I can help students apply math by giving examples in how it is used. I teach by examples at a rate that you need to go, not to fast or slow. Math can be boring, so why not make it more enjoyable. Do you like sports? Apply quadratics to a basketball. Do you like building? You can use math for that too. What about cooking? Ratios can help you change your recipe. I can help take what you love doing and make math easier to understand and less of a chore!
