About Jose
I am a student at the University of Houston-Downtown and I am majoring in Biochemistry. I am from Peru and Spanish is my first language but I am fluent in English as well. Chemistry has been my favorite subject since high school, so I decided to broaden my knowledge in chemistry at the university, and to hopefully attend a medical school.

The way I teach others is mainly by solving problems questions. A typical lesson plan is working together on different levels of questions about the topic lesson, you can bring your homework or I can provide question problems for the lesson. If you ask yourself, what sets me apart as a tutor?, I would say: I as a student myself, it was hard to understand very long lectures and not getting it afterwards, so I try to teach other students the material in a simpler way.
