About Asad

I am an Undergrad at UCL studying BSc Human Sciences and I am passionate about helping my students gain confidence in their own academic abilities, by being friendly, open and flexible in our lessons. This approach has been successful with my students, seeing tangible progress in terms of their grades whilst simultaneously deepening their understanding of the subject as a whole.

I work as a manager in a tuition centre and have prior experience tutoring in group settings and one-to-one for over 3 years. Having worked with children of all ages (4-18), including those with SEN, gives me confidence in my own capability to tutor effectively and help my students achieve their personal targets.

About the class

I aim to make my lessons collaborative and enjoyable. I adapt to my students’ needs whether that is recapping content material using slides, practicing exam questions or just providing a space for students to re-visit topics they are struggling with and ask questions freely! My lessons will be 45mins-1.5h hours depending on the student’s availability and preference. I have worked as a tutor for 4 years and have done plenty of volunteering in schools. I consistently achieved top grades throughout my academic career, helping me obtain from Cambridge, UCL, King’s College London and other prestigious unis.
