About Nikita
I am currently a first-year University student at UCL studying economics. Alongside my A levels, I had a part-time job teaching dance to both primary and secondary school students. Since doing so, I have discovered my passion for teaching as I enjoy observing the progression of students as they have more lessons as well as seeing the increase in confidence students have during this time. I have since learnt that the most important thing when teaching is to be a warm, welcoming character so that students feel comfortable learning from me. I am therefore excited to embark on my tutoring journey and hope you choose to come on it with me!

My lessons are typically an hour long and entirely remote and I teach KS2, KS3 and GCSE chemistry. The lesson will begin with reviewing and giving feedback on homework from the previous lesson if given. Next, the pupil and I will pick out a particular topic or a selection of small topics to work on for the hour. The lesson will be split into multiple parts; time will be spent teaching the topic, completing practice questions on the topic and finally a selection of challenge questions to further challenge students. Feedback on students' progress will also be given at the end of each lesson.
