About Jay
I'm Jay, a Chemical Engineering student at UCL. I've sat exactly where you are — staring at a Physics or Chemistry topic that just won't click, wondering if it ever will.
I didn't find these subjects easy at first. I had to figure out how to actually understand them, not just memorise them. That process is what got me all 9s at GCSE and A*s in Physics and Chemistry at A-Level — and it's exactly what I'll share with you.
I teach the way I wish someone had taught me — no textbook-reading, no jargon overload. Just clear, relatable explanations that make the content finally make sense.

Teaching methodology
I pinpoint gaps first, then build understanding from the ground up — not just past paper drilling. Real examples, common exam traps, and targeted practice so students can handle anything unseen.
Lesson length
1 hour as standard. 90 minutes available for exam-intensive sessions.
Qualifications
Studying MEng Chemical Engineering, UCL. All 9s at GCSE · A*A*AA at A-Level including 85% in Physics and 93% in Chemistry.
