About Jeron
Hi! I’m currently studying Engineering at UCD after completing my Leaving Certificate with 625 points, including H1s in Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Applied Math.
I’ve always had a genuine passion for Math and Science, and I enjoy finding simple ways to understand and solve problems. During school, I regularly helped my peers and younger students with their studies, and I really enjoyed seeing them gain confidence and improve.
Alongside my academic studies, I have participated in several Math, Science and Applied Math competitions. I was a national winner of the IMTA Math competition and have also won at regional level in Math, Science and Applied Math competitions in 2025 and 2026.
Now that I’m studying Engineering, I’m keen to continue sharing my knowledge with students. I’m friendly, patient and approachable, and I want my lessons to be a place where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.

I offer personalized grinds for Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate students in Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Applied Math.
Having recently completed my Leaving Certificate with 625 points and H1s in Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Applied Math, I understand the current course content, exam structure and the challenges students face when preparing for exams.
My teaching style is simple, practical and student-focused. I don't believe in simply giving students formulas or asking them to memorize answers. I first make sure they understand the concept, and then show them how to apply it to different types of questions.
I use easy explanations, step-by-step methods, shortcuts, useful tricks and exam-style questions to make difficult topics more manageable. If a student doesn't understand something the first time, I’m happy to explain it in a different way until it clicks.
Lessons can be tailored depending on what the student needs. We can focus on:
Understanding difficult topics and building strong foundations
Working through questions step-by-step
Exam techniques and time management
Identifying common mistakes
Practicing past-paper and exam-style questions
Revising for upcoming tests and exams
Building confidence in Math and Science
I have previously helped peers and younger students with their studies and have received positive feedback for my ability to explain concepts clearly.
My aim is to make lessons interactive, relaxed and productive, while helping students develop the understanding and confidence to tackle questions independently.
