  My interest in mathematics began at a young age and has only grown stronger over time.   My passion for mathematics is deeply rooted in its fundamental role as the foundation of science, which in turn is the bedrock of engineering. Mathematics provides us with a basic understanding of how the world operates. This profound connection between math, science, and engineering has been a driving force behind my passion for the subject.
  
  I pursued a degree in civil engineering because I wanted to apply the principles of mathematics to solve real-world problems. Engineering is essentially the practical application of mathematical concepts, and this is where I found my calling. My passion for math stems from the realization that it is not just an abstract subject but a powerful tool that shapes our understanding of the world and drives innovation in various fields.   First and foremost, I genuinely enjoy mathematics. It's a subject that has always captivated me, and sharing that enthusiasm with students is a source of personal fulfillment.
  
  Additionally, I have a deep passion for teaching. Being a tutor allows me to directly influence someone's ability to improve themselves. It's immensely rewarding to witness the "aha" moments when a student grasps a challenging concept or successfully solves a problem. • Do you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you? Please explain.

  Indeed, I do have a role model who has had a profound impact on my educational journey. My grade 8 teacher stands out as an inspirational figure in my life. What made her special to me was that she didn't conform to the stereotype of the "fun" or "cool" teacher that many students preferred. Instead, she was a strict, well-seasoned educator, who embodied the old-school teaching style.
  
  This might not have been the most popular choice among my peers, but it's precisely why I held her in high regard. At a young age, many students tend to gravitate towards teachers who make learning seem easy and enjoyable. However, I had the insight to appreciate that teachers like her were the ones who would truly challenge me to grow.
  
  She was not just teaching the subject matter; she was imparting life skills, discipline, and a strong work ethic. Her no-nonsense approach pushed me to strive for excellence and instilled in me a deep appreciation for the value of hard work and perseverance in the pursuit of knowledge.
