About Arthi
Hi! My name is Arthi, and I am a fourth-year medical student at Boston University School of Medicine. Before medical school, I graduated from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business and taught middle school STEM through Teach For America. Got a 518 on the MCAT (96th percentile).
Teaching has been one of the most meaningful parts of my career. Over the years, I have worked with students across a wide range of ages and academic levels—from middle and high school students learning foundational math and science to college, pre-medical, and medical students tackling advanced coursework.
My teaching philosophy is simple: every student can succeed when concepts are explained in a way that matches how they learn. I focus on building confidence, strengthening critical thinking skills, and helping students become independent learners rather than simply memorizing material.
I offer tutoring in biology, chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, psychology, neuroscience, math, study skills, test preparation, and pre-medical advising. Whether your goal is improving grades, preparing for an exam, or navigating the path to medical school, I strive to create a supportive and personalized learning environment that helps students reach their full potential.
