About Panos
I hold a MA in International Relations from the University of Oxford. I teach Greek and Turkish as a side-profession since I was 18 years old (for more than 15 years). I have taken several courses regarding teaching Greek from the University of Ioannina. I am native in Greek and Turkish.

I have a student-centred and interactive approach. I put a lot of emphasis on speaking and listening skills. I use solid, daily life examples and real-life situations to help my students grasp how the Turkish language works, how Turks think and how to apply it to their own experience. I have acquired a substantial set of techniques during my teaching experience. I adapt my curriculum to the needs and profile of each student. I have had dozens of students from many countries, and across all ages, children to seniors. I believe that learning a language is more than just memorising or learning grammar. I transfer my knowledge of Turkish language and Turkish culture to my students so that they can learn the language as well as the culture.

I’ve started learning Greek with Panagiotis and within a very short period of time I was able to speak and communicate in Greek confidently.
