About Himah
I am a Yoga Teacher and Yoga Therapist with a Master’s degree in Yoga from Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana. I have also completed the Yoga Instructor Course (YIC), which has given me a strong foundation in teaching yoga in a structured, safe, and effective way.
My training combines traditional yogic wisdom with modern scientific understanding of how yoga and meditation influence the body and mind. I have studied classical yoga systems such as Iyengar Yoga and Ashtanga Yoga, allowing me to bring both precision in alignment and dynamic practice into my teaching.
Beyond teaching yoga postures, my work focuses on helping people improve their health, concentration, emotional balance, and inner clarity through meditation and yogic practices. As part of my academic journey, I also conducted research on improving the concentration of school students through meditation, which deepened my understanding of the powerful impact meditation can have on mental focus and overall wellbeing.
I share this knowledge because yoga is much more than physical exercise—it is a complete system for developing a healthy body, a calm mind, and a balanced life. In today’s fast-paced world, many people struggle with stress, distraction, and lifestyle-related health issues. Through yoga and meditation, it is possible to cultivate clarity, resilience, and inner peace.
My intention is to make authentic and meaningful yoga practices accessible to everyone, so that students can experience real transformation in their daily lives. Each class is designed not just as a workout, but as a learning experience that equips students with practical tools for lifelong health, focus, and wellbeing.

This is not a typical yoga class where you simply follow postures. The sessions are designed as a holistic mind-body training experience based on traditional yogic knowledge and scientific understanding gained through advanced study and research.
Each class combines therapeutic yoga practices, breath regulation, and guided meditation to help participants experience real and lasting benefits. The focus is not only on physical flexibility, but also on mental clarity, emotional balance, and inner awareness.
What makes these classes different is the personalised and research-based approach. Having completed a Master’s degree in Yoga from Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana and conducted research on improving students’ concentration through meditation, the sessions are structured to help participants enhance focus, reduce stress, and develop deeper mindfulness.
The practice also integrates techniques from Iyengar Yoga and Ashtanga Yoga, ensuring proper alignment, safe practice, and a balanced flow of strength and awareness.
