About Tobi
Hi my name is Tobi Akindeinde. I've just finished my first year at the university of Oxford studying PPE. I'm currently predicted an A* in maths and hope to achieve this on the upcoming results day! I also achieved a grade 9 at GCSE
As your tutor I hope to instil confidence, perseverance and consistency. Maths is a skill, which requires patience and repetition. As your tutor I hope to get to know you so as to help you develop this skill and train your work ethic as well as your mathematic capability.
Despite doing well now, I actually struggled at the beginning of A level maths so I understand what it's like to have low confidence, or to just be generally confused and this has allowed me to learn all the tips and tricks. So, I hope to help others who may also be struggling to get to the same point I did.

As someone who has completed the A level, I understand how best to go around learning and developing skills in maths, as well as actually understanding the concepts.
So, my lessons are tailored to whatever you want, because every student is different, but are usually, 1 hour at a minimum.
The topic of the lessons can be decided by the student and I create power points and notes sheets as requested.
I focus on looking at examples initially and developing the basic skills to then going on and jumping right into the hardest questions.
While this may sound quite drastic, struggling constructively with the hardest questions makes everything so much easier and builds confidence.
Repition is the key! I focus on clarity in steps especially when problem solving complex questions.
My lessons are for people in year 10-13.
