My classes are suited for all people, if you’re starting out or a seasoned yogi, wherever you are, my flows are modified and adjusted to your comfort.
My vinyasa practice is fundamentally about forming a connection between breath and movement. Creating oneness between your body and mind during practice. Learning your strengths and where you can improve. Acknowledging for yourself when to push and when to surrender to a pose. Working towards remaining present and mindful in the space we create together and what we learn about ourselves and our bodies in the time we have together.
My yin practice focuses on deep healing of the body and mind. Sitting in discomfort physically and emotionally, allowing it, noticing it and letting it pass is not an easy task but a good practice in yoga and life when you lean into it. In this practice we work to improve the flow of energy in our body. The subtle energy known as Qi in Chinese medicine that run through the meridian pathways of the body. Improving the flow of Qi through deep intentional asanas aimed at specific meridians (depending on what you are having trouble with) we can improve organ health, immunity and emotional well-being.
Although i am a teacher, I am also open to learning. Im willing to explore your interests and improve my knowledge of it as well. Im also down for a conversation and holding space for you in that way if that’s what you need
